Dam Instrumentation Specialist, Permanent, Wellington

An opportunity to work on a diverse range of dam safety instrumentation solutions from concept and detailed design to implementation, maintenance and refurbishment with a specialist niche consultancy.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to deliver quality results and be prepared to work both on site and in the office. Experience with some or all of the following aspects are essential.:

• A range of geotechnical instruments e.g. piezometers, inclinometers, temperature sensors etc.
• Datalogger design and configuration
• Communications protocols
• Pneumatic piezometer diagnostics and maintenance

Senior Structural Engineer / Structural Engineer

Are you a structural or civil engineer with seismic experience in dams, water retaining structures or heavy civil engineering?
Damwatch is involved in the analysis and design of dams and their associated structures. Each dam is a unique and interesting structure and we regularly work on new structures and the strengthening of older ones, working with mass concrete, reinforced concrete and steel.
