Rebecca is the Technical Manager of Damwatch's Dam Surveillance section, responsible for dam safety inspections together with monitoring, analysing and reporting on a wide variety of dams, canals and associated hydraulic structures. These services utilise a sophisticated data collection, processing and reporting telemetry and computer system, applied to wind and dam engineering for Damwatch clients. A civil engineer specialising in hydraulic structures, dam safety and instrumentation, Rebecca is also involved in investigations of dam deficiencies and analyses of dam safety performance. Rebecca has been with Damwatch since the company began in 1999. During that period Rebecca has also undertaken study - she has attended the London School of Economics as a 2007 Hume fellowship winner and an AMP scholarship recipient - and has spent two years in Guatemala involved in volunteer aid and community development work.
